A fix has been revealed by one of the support staff members from Rockstar Games in regards to the cheaters pool timer glitch in the GTA Online mode of GTA 5. In a conversation through the Rockstar Support page on Dec. 27, a player mentioned that his countdown clock increased from four days to two months even though he believed that he did nothing wrong.
A representative from the development team suggested that the player should reset his console and then check the timer. The countdown clock should revert to the correct amount. You can take a look at the GTA 5 campaign and GTA Online multiplayer modes in the gallery located to the left of this article and the response below:
Please restart your console and check again, your timer should now be fixed. Thanks.
Other fans also reported similar issues with the cheaters pool timer. The rest of the community is suggesting that individuals who are affected should ask the same member of the support staff to fix the problem.
The cheaters pool was put into place in order to place several restrictions on players that were not playing GTA Online as intended.
The GTA 5 development team is addressing several issues at the moment. The main priority appears to be placed on the money hacks that have plagued the multiplayer mode of the open-world action-adventure video game on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
